Established in 2003, Regen Power is a renowned Western Australian company for pioneering innovations in field of solar, wind and offgrid power systems. This 16 year journey included numerous solar farm installations in 3 different continent, making us one of the best commercial solar installers in Australia.
Regen provides a wide range of products and services based on solar, wind and solar hybrid energy systems to the residential, commercial, utility and off-grid mining and remote community markets. In fulfilling its vision to “create affordable access to power through sustainable solutions and innovative technologies”, Regen Power has invested heavily in R&D to invent sustainable technologies that would save fuel, electricity cost and reduce pollution. Regen has ongoing collaborative R&D projects with Curtin University and University of Tasmania.
As a testimony for its commitment to sustainable energy development, it was conferred the prestigious Sustainable Energy Industry’s Ambassador Award and the Product Technology Award in 2011 and was a finalist in the 2014 Australian Technologies Competition. Regen has installed over 20000 residential solar systems, over 1000 commercial, offgrid and several remote community projects. The previous financial year added some of the biggest and popular solar farms and off-grid international and national projects to our commercial portfolio. Here are some of our latest projects from the 2018/19 fiscal year.
Regen power is proud to be associated as Owner’s Engineer for a 49.5MWp solar farm with an expected average electricity generation of 70,000 MWh/ year. The US$50million solar power plant is the frst of its kind in the central province of Quảng Trị , Vietnam and is expected to become operational in June. The solar power plant covers approximately 60ha in Gio Linh District’s Gio Thành and Gio Hải communes. The solar farm is located close to the sea in a sandy area not suitable for agriculture activities.
Regen Power is proud to be associated with St John Ambulance in designing and installing an oﬀ-grid solar power system in Toodyay, WA. The system consists of Canadian panels, SMA Sunny Boy inverters and lead carbon batteries with racking structures and a backup diesel generator on site.
This ﬂoating solar power plant is an innovative approach of using a
combination of photovoltaic power plant technology and ﬂoating technology. Regen is a consortia partner in the project which is the first large-scale ﬂoating solar power plant installed in India. The project generates about 700,000 kWh per year fed directly to the grid. Floating solar power plants reduce the need for valuable land area, save drinking water that would otherwise be lost through
evaporation and show a higher eﬀiciency of solar energy conversion, as the panels are kept at a cooler temperature than land-based systems.
