Regen Power Managing Director, Nikhil Jayaraj, has been declared as one of the finalists in the coveted CEO Magazine Award under the Managing Director of the Year 2022. The endeavours of upper management have been crucial in the post-covid world where everyone is grappling with uncertainty. The much-awaited award is organised annually to honour professionals for their exceptional leadership qualities. The award ceremony was held on November 9, 2022, at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont, Sydney.
“Energy has become synonymous with water in the context of survival and growth. We are witnessing how dependency on energy can title the scale for a nation and its people. I want a world where we have a perennial flow of clean energy and when your efforts are recognised with accolades, it fuels the passion even more. Being selected as a finalist, ratifies that the direction in which we are going is right,” says Jayaraj who has been disrupting the renewable solar industry.
Nikhil took the reins of the company in 2016 and since then it is helping businesses and people through its residential, commercial and off-grid solar energy solutions.
Regen Power was established by Emeritus Professor. Chem Nayar, a stalwart personality in the renewable energy industry. His vision has been a precursor for the MD to work tirelessly towards equipping society with the best technology to harness solar power.
With an 10% market share in WA, Regen has installed 40,000+ solar systems generating 800,000 units in a day which is a landmark in itself as they generate power that is equivalent to burning 111 Million kgs of coal. “I am deeply inspired by the idea of sustainability and plan to make Australia a world leader in renewable energy”, says Jayaraj.
