Perth homeowners installing solar and a battery in 2026 can combine multiple incentive layers, then use a no-interest loan to cover the remaining balance.

A typical 6.6 kW solar system in Perth can still receive around $1,600 in incentives when it uses CEC-approved products and is installed by an SAA-accredited installer.

Battery rebates stepped down over time in 2026. Installations completed before Friday, May 1, 2026 were advertised at roughly $300 per kWh, or about $3,000 on a typical 10 kWh battery.

The WA scheme launched on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 and can be stacked with the federal battery rebate for eligible Synergy and Horizon Power customers who participate in a VPP.

Eligible households can access up to $10,000 in no-interest finance to cover the balance after rebates, with flexible repayment terms from three to ten years.

Alongside the rebates, eligible WA households can access a no-interest loan administered by Plenti (Australian Credit Licence holder) to cover the out-of-pocket portion of a battery or solar-plus-battery install. There's no interest, no early repayment fees, and flexible 3–10 year terms.
