Three awards in one week: WA's best-rated installer, a decade-long manufacturer partnership, and national recognition for Australia's energy transition.
Regen Power has returned from All-Energy Australia 2026 in Melbourne with three separate industry recognitions: the SolarQuotes Customer Choice Award for Best Installer in Western Australia 2026, the Risen Energy Long-Term Partnership Award, and the EUPD Research Awarded Installer Australia 2026 certification.
Each award was decided by a different judge using a different measure. One was decided by customers through verified reviews, one by a manufacturer after more than ten years of working together, and one by an independent international research house assessing installers' contribution to Australia's energy transition. For a Perth-founded company that installed its first system in 2003, having all three land in the same week is a milestone the team is proud of, and grateful for.
A big week for the industry, and for Regen Power
All-Energy Australia is the largest clean energy conference and exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. The 2026 edition ran on 28 and 29 October at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together more than 16,500 professionals, 490 suppliers and 500 speakers across the solar, storage, EV and grid sectors.
The show has become the week when the industry's most respected recognitions are handed out. SolarQuotes held its Installer Night on Tuesday 27 October, EUPD Research presented its Australian installer awards alongside the exhibition on 28 October, and manufacturers used the gathering to recognise their longest-standing installation partners.
Regen Power came home with a recognition from each of those three sources. We are not aware of another Western Australian installer that received a customer-rated state title, a manufacturer partnership award and an EUPD Research installer certification in the same year.

Award 1: SolarQuotes Best Installer in Western Australia 2026
What it is. SolarQuotes is Australia's largest independent solar review platform, with more than 100,000 verified customer reviews. Each year it names the best-rated installer in every state and territory, then brings those winners together as finalists for the national Customer Choice Award. Regen Power was named Western Australia's best-rated installer for 2026 and accepted the award on stage at SolarQuotes' Installer Night in Melbourne on 27 October, standing as the WA finalist for Australia's best installer.
How it is decided. The award is not voted on by a panel and cannot be bought. SolarQuotes applies a weighted system to reviews left between 1 September 2025 and 1 September 2026, designed so smaller installers compete fairly with larger ones. Any installer with at least 15 reviews in that window is eligible, whether or not they are part of the SolarQuotes network. In short, the title goes to the company whose customers rated it highest.
Why it matters. This is the second year in a row Regen Power has held the WA title, and it was earned in the toughest year the industry has seen. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program drove record demand through 2025 and 2026, and SolarQuotes noted that maintaining ratings while teams grow rapidly is the hardest thing an installer can do. Holding WA's highest rating through that period says more about the people on the roofs, on the phones and in after-sales than any claim we could make ourselves.
It also reflects reach. A state title on a platform of this size is a measure of how many Western Australians chose Regen Power and then chose to say so publicly. For homeowners comparing quotes, it is the most independent signal available: the verdict of people who already bought one.
Award 2: Risen Energy Long-Term Partnership Award
What it is. Risen Energy is one of the world's largest solar panel manufacturers and a Tier 1 brand that has been part of the Australian market for well over a decade. At All-Energy, Risen Energy Australia presented Regen Power with its Long-Term Partnership Award, in recognition of continued partnership, loyalty and ongoing commitment to the brand. In Risen's words, the award reflects sincere appreciation for the trust and support Regen Power has shown in building the brand in Australia.
What sits behind it. Regen Power has installed Risen panels for more than ten years and has now passed 50 megawatts of installed Risen capacity across Western Australian homes and businesses. That is thousands of rooftops carrying the same panel, chosen again and again because it has performed.
Why it matters. Awards from customers tell you how a company treats people. Awards from manufacturers tell you something different: how a company chooses products. Regen Power's design team has access to every major panel brand and no obligation to any of them. Staying with Risen for over a decade was not a commercial arrangement; it was a judgement about reliability, warranty backing and real-world performance in Perth's heat, repeated on every quote.
For customers, a long-term manufacturer relationship means a direct line to the factory when warranty support is needed, and an installer whose product recommendations have been tested over time rather than switched to whatever is cheapest this quarter. For Regen Power, it is recognition that loyalty runs both ways.
Award 3: EUPD Research Awarded Installer Australia 2026
What it is. EUPD Research is a German market research institute whose reports on the global solar industry are cited by manufacturers, industry associations and governments. Its Installer Award is an international program that identifies the installation companies making the largest contribution to the energy transition in each market, assessed on installation volume, market coverage, execution and sustained growth. In Australia the award is presented each year alongside All-Energy in Melbourne, and this year's ceremony was held on 28 October.
Regen Power received the EUPD Research Awarded Installer Australia 2026 certification. In presenting it, EUPD Research stated that Regen Power is making a significant contribution to the energy transition in Australia, and expressed its appreciation for the company's contribution to a cleaner and better world.
Why it matters. The SolarQuotes award measures quality as customers experience it. The EUPD award measures scale and impact as the market sees it. An installer can be well liked and small, or large and indifferent; it is rare to be recognised for both in the same week. With more than 45,000 systems installed since 2003, Regen Power's cumulative contribution to Western Australia's rooftop solar and battery fleet is among the largest in the state, and EUPD's recognition places that contribution in a national and international frame.
It matters for another reason. The energy transition is measured in gigawatt-hours shifted from the grid to rooftops and batteries. Every system Regen Power's crews install is a small, permanent part of that number. Being recognised for it by an independent research house, rather than by a sponsor or a trade body, is the kind of acknowledgement a company founded by an engineering academic values most.
What three awards from three directions say
Any one of these recognitions would have made the trip to Melbourne worthwhile. Together they describe a company from three angles at once.- Customers, through SolarQuotes, rated Regen Power's work and service highest in Western Australia for the second consecutive year.
- A manufacturer, through Risen, recognised ten years of consistent product choice and 50 MW of panels installed with care.
- The industry's own researchers, through EUPD, measured the company's contribution to Australia's energy transition and placed it among the installers that matter nationally.
The same week brought the context that makes this year's recognition harder-won. Demand for home batteries under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program and the WA Residential Battery Scheme has been unprecedented, with more than 50,000 home batteries installed in Western Australia under the federal program by August 2026. Many installers have doubled their teams in twelve months. Growing through that while keeping the state's highest customer rating is the achievement the team is proudest of.
These awards add to a year in which Regen Power was also ranked the most popular solar installer in Western Australia by SunWiz on more than 3,000 verified reviews, received the ProductReview.com.au award for the sixth year, and had its SolarQuotes WA title confirmed for a second term.
From the CEO
"Three awards in one week is not something we planned for, and it is not something we can take credit for alone. The SolarQuotes award belongs to our installers and our service team, because customers rated what they experienced. The Risen award belongs to our designers, who kept choosing a product because it kept performing. The EUPD award belongs to every Western Australian who trusted us with their roof over the last 23 years. We came to Melbourne to learn where the industry is heading. We came home humbled."
Nikhil Jayaraj, CEO, Regen PowerThank you
To the thousands of customers who took the time to leave a review, to Risen Energy Australia for ten years of partnership, to EUPD Research for its recognition, and to the Regen Power team in Perth who kept every promise while the industry moved faster than it ever has: thank you.
