Regen Power named Western Australia’s best-rated solar installer for second consecutive year
PERTH, 8 October 2026 - Regen Power has been named Western Australia’s best-rated solar installer in the SolarQuotes 2026 Installer Awards, taking first place in the state for the second year in a row.
The SolarQuotes rankings are decided by customers, not judges. Each year SolarQuotes applies a weighted calculation to the customer reviews published on its website over the previous 12 months, so smaller installers with fewer reviews compete on equal terms with larger ones. Every WA installer with a SolarQuotes review listing is considered, whether or not it belongs to the SolarQuotes network.
Koala Solar placed second in 2026 and Positive Energy Solutions third.
The WA result makes Regen Power a finalist for the SolarQuotes Best Installer in Australia award. The national winner will be announced at the SolarQuotes Installer Night at Melbourne’s Showtime Events Centre on Tuesday 27 October, the evening before All-Energy Australia, where a member of the Regen Power team will collect the WA trophy.
Service that starts at switch-on
Founded in Perth in 2003 and based in Canning Vale, Regen Power has completed more than 45,000 installations of residential and commercial solar, battery storage and EV charging. CEO Dr Nikhil Jayaraj says the ranking reflects what happens after installation as much as the installation itself.
“At Regen Power, our relationship with a household doesn’t end when the system is switched on. It starts there. Our aftercare, monitoring and responsive service are what customers remember, and they are what they write about,” Dr Jayaraj said.

In announcing the result, SolarQuotes pointed to recent customer reviews praising responsive after-sales support, clear explanations and a high standard of installation workmanship.
Research-led, customer-rated
Dr Jayaraj combines 15 years in the solar and energy sector with active academic research. A Research Adjunct at Curtin University, where he completed his Doctor of Business Administration, he publishes in the journal Energy Policy on how Australian households adopt solar and battery storage.
Regen Power is an industry partner in a current Curtin University research project examining household energy use, battery storage and artificial intelligence, and insights from that work feed directly into how the company designs, explains and supports systems. The relationship with Curtin runs deep: Regen Power was founded in 2003 by the late Emeritus Professor Chem Nayar of Curtin University.
