Hybrid Micro-Grids for Off-Grid Applications
- Regen provides practical and cost-effective energy solutions for challenging locations, both off-grid and on-grid.
- Regen Power has been designing, installing, and maintaining remote off-grid systems, commonly known as microgrids since 2007.
- We develop efficient and cost-effective hybrid systems using solar, wind, and variable speed diesel generators, designed specifically for remote communities and mining camps.
- We have 24×7 power generation systems using solar, wind, battery and diesel generators, proven for remote islands in the Republic of Maldives, Singapore, resorts in Australia and Sri Lanka, schools, and medical centers.
Advanced Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- Our research focuses on optimizing Li-ion batteries and integrating them with solar PV systems and diesel generators to reduce emissions, extend battery life, and enhance power quality.
- Developed an advanced energy management system (EMS) to optimize the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), including Li-ion batteries, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, and variable speed diesel generators (VSDGs).
- The project envisions the development of a high-level energy management algorithm and control management system to coordinate the dynamic operation of various renewable and non-renewable sources such as solar, diesel, etc.

- Wind turbines capable of operating across variable speed ranges, providing cost-effective solutions for grid-connected applications.
